ENDLESS STORY was Yuna Ito’s debut single. It used as the image song for the movie “NANA”. The song was voted the “Love Song of 2005” by Oricon.

The dramatic piano and melancholy strings add pinache to an otherwise stock ballad. Yuna Ito’s vocals soar over the accompaniment beautifully and her musical delivery is stunningly heartfelt. The chorus is romantic and impressing. An electric guitar is a really cool (if unexpected) addition to this love song.

JOURNEY begins very slowly with a New Age-like electronic melody and then quickly progresses into a lively rock/pop number. The verses are full of anticipation and the chorus is fun and party-friendly. The hook is really awesome, too. The beat is also very rockish and snare heavy. Overall, this is a great B-side!

Overall, this single was top-notch. It was also an amazing debut for Yuna Ito. It’s too bad it wasn’t a #1. My only complaint about Yuna Ito, and this goes for all of her songs, is that her voice gets a tad strained and nasal at points. But she is still an amazing vocalist.
