This song is very sweeping. The violins and acoustic guitar keep the pace and intensity, while the interspersed electric guitar adds the punch. The smooth whine of the violins offer a very stark contrast the YUI’s peircing timbre at the beginning of the, almost veering into jarring. YUI’s voice is very unique; timelessly youthful, wise, calming, grating, and soft. But overal, it exudes a truthfulness and soul that is the sole reason I like her.

The second track is faster paced and sounds like much of her previous A-sides. Although, I like the melody and the guitar as always.

There isn’t really much to write about LOVE & TRUTH, except I like it. The songs sound familair, in the same vein as all of her previous material. But her voice and lyrics will pull it through and will probably continue to do so.
